Mental Health Services provide a wide range of community programs and services that can help persons experiencing difficulties with mental health or substance use. Services for children and youth (under 19) are typically offered separately from adult services.
Mental health centres are located in communities across the province. Their services are available free of charge to BC residents. To find a mental health office in your area, call 811 or visit HealthLink BC.
When you call an office, they will ask you some questions in order to better understand what’s going on with you. This will help them to decide whether you would benefit from their services or if you would better helped by another service in your community.
